To these guys, living lives of inertia holed up in their rooms with the air conditioning on blast, summer was utterly unbearable. Melted ice cream. Endless homework. Humid heatwaves assaulting listless bodies. Now, when computers and game consoles only feed back into the heat, there is nowhere left for them to get any peace.

"Even if I can't leave the house... someday I want to try leaving this country."

With this resolution in their hearts, the shut-in hikimomori gently closed their eyes...

And so, the series is now up to volume five! They are leaving Japan and setting forth for Hawaii - HikiTabi is going global!
