Set during the turmoil at the end of the Edo period, the film depicts the strange fate of a young girl, Chizuru Yukimura, who comes to Kyoto in search of her father, and the Shinsengumi soldiers, including Hijikata Toshizo.

Summary
It is a turbulent period at the end of the Edo period. A young girl, Chizuru Yukimura (Kotoko Wakayanagi), comes from Edo to Kyoto in search of her missing father.
She is confronted by Rasetsu, who is performing unbelievably terrible deeds, and the Shinsengumi, led by Hijikata Toshizo (Sakiyama Tsubasa)
The Shinsengumi quickly cut down Rasetsu in an instant. However, Tsunamichi, Chizuru's father, had an inseparable connection with both the Rasetsu and the Shinsengumi.
Soon, Chizuru finds herself in the Shinsengumi, searching for her father.
